mom and I came to St. George to try out the treatments- unfortunately they tested her to see if she had any response before they could treat her and she did not. So they said there wasn't much they could do, but we are still hopeful and there are more options-love ya-dad

K- so we figured out how to get on here and even make a post- now how do i add my name to where you guys have chad's family and lynn's family? dad and i have been working on this all morning--i know--we have issues-- it's the blind leading the blind!

projects up to our ears

We are up to our ears in projects and I keep telling myself that we chose this that the course of our lives at this point is voluntary and if you ask me daily how I feel about moving again it will change daily. One minute I am gung-ho excited and stoked the next day I throw myself a pity party and invite me, myself, and I... and between the three of us we know how to throw one heck of a party. Today I am painting (Chad my hero started on it yesterday and mentioned I could work on it some if I wanted to) Sweet man. So I have worked on it alittle and I am on break. I know I will feel alot better once the majority of the projects are out of the way. So if anyone was looking to serve their fellow brother and sister in law then an open invitation is issued to any and all who have even an inkling as to how to tape, texture and paint holes in the walls that are about the size of a basketball each. (Long Story having to do with water and a poor job of winterizing a vacant house) We don't really know what we are doing but we will need to take a stab at it due to the "kindness of 3 different companies".....One came out and never sent us a bid, one came out and sent us a bid that might have well been a huge attachment that reads "I think you are so stupid you would pay all your life savings for a few patch jobs" and one that never bothered to show up last night. Really people....is it really that big of a nightmare that you advertise your expertise in drywall repair and then just simply....don't wanna? That is my story and I am sticking to it. Chad's Family

Thanks to Lynn for setting us all up on here. We had a good time at the reunion and it was great to see everyone. We made it safely home despite a horrendous bout with montezuma's revenge for Chad. But he is better. Now it is back to the grindstone preparing our house for sale here. You may think, "They've only been there for a year how much could they possibly have to do?" but we thought we'd have time to touch up paint and replace the molding after tiling and other such projects but now we are pushed to get it done. We have some sheetrock work that needs to be done but when one bid never came in and another comes in so rediculously high it makes you laugh, you start to get the feeling that noone wants to do it. We'll figure it out. I am hoping with the Blog here we can stay better aquainted and in touch with each other. We love you all and hope you enjoyed the reunion as much as we did. Thanks Dad and Kerri for everything, and Mom for your strong will and determination, not to mention your smile. Believe it or not it brightens up the hearts of all who come in contact with you.
